Role overview

Job Summary:

The Business Analyst III plays a critical role in bridging the gap between clients and the software development team by gathering and analyzing business requirements. This role involves documenting user stories, defining project goals, and supporting Agile development practices to ensure successful software delivery aligned with business needs.
Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients and development team members to elicit and document requirements.
  • Write detailed user stories and define project goals.
  • Analyze business functions and workflows to understand the business domain.
  • Identify stakeholder needs and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Author test case specifications and requirements traceability documentation.
  • Contribute to the compilation and execution of test plans.
  • Support and actively contribute to Agile practices within the development team.

Required Skills & Certifications:

  • Strong experience in business analysis and requirements gathering.
  • Proficiency in writing user stories and test case specifications.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

  • Experience with requirements traceability tools and documentation.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master).

Special Considerations:

  • Must be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced Agile environment.
  • May require coordination across multiple stakeholders and teams.
