Position Details

Position: Professional AZ Driver – Domestic
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Sebringville, Ontario
Reports to: Safety & Compliance Coordinator
Compensation: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour [Additional premiums may apply based on client assignments, route types, and operational requirements (as applicable)]

Position Summary
Operate company equipment and complete deliveries across Canada in a safe, professional, and efficient manner, in compliance with company policies and all applicable legislation.

Key Responsibilities

Transport freight across Canada-wide routes
Complete multiple pickups and deliveries within assigned regions
Operate Volvo trucks and Moffett forklifts (training provided if required)
Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
Secure loads using proper equipment and procedures
Maintain accurate ELD logs and documentation in compliance with regulations
Interact professionally with customers and team members
Ensure all paperwork, including Bills of Lading, is accurate and complete
Adhere to all provincial and federal transportation regulations
Represent Woodcock Transportation Group standards at all times
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

Valid AZ Driver’s License
Minimum 1+ year experience (open to strong entry-level candidates)
Experience operating a Moffett-style forklift is preferred but not mandatory (training provided)
Clean driver’s abstract
Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
Customer service and communication skills
Legally entitled to work in Canada

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Exposure to varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)
Extended periods of sitting and driving
Frequent use of hands, arms, and feet
Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) when required
Physical movement including climbing, crouching, and securing loads
