WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Peninsula Co-op
is hiring a Relief Driver for a full-time position ranging from 32 to 40 hours per week within our Commercial Sales – Petroleum Division located in Saanichton, BC. This role supports our
Cardlock & Home Heating operations across multiple locations.

mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

courteous with customers and coworkers

Able to work independently for
long periods while staying focused and organized

Calm and can make good decisions
in high stress situations

·
Someone with a strong attention
to detail and takes pride in accurate and safe deliveries

·
Comfortable working outdoors in
all weather conditions

·
Physically able to lift up to 50
lbs, pull up to 75 lbs, and remain active throughout their shift.

·
Someone who holds a valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract

·
Willing to complete training for
air brake certification and fuel delivery operations

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Relief Driver carries out freight and fuel deliveries in a safe,
timely, and efficient manner while providing a positive and welcoming
experience for every customer. Responsibilities include completing vehicle
inspections and safety checks, maintaining accurate delivery documentation and
driver logs, monitoring facilities for maintenance or safety concerns, and
ensuring all deliveries are completed according to safety and operational
standards.

This role also supports cardlock
and carwash operations, promotes Peninsula Co-op membership, and ensures
product accuracy through careful verification of fuel type, quantity, pricing,
and truck placards. Depending on operational needs, this role may support both
freight and petroleum deliveries.
