Role: Operational Readiness Planner (TS)
Location: Key Lake, SK - flights from Saskatoon, SK
Duration: 07/06/2026 - 06/30/2027
Work Rotation: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off - 11hrs per day

Years Experience: Intermediate (4-9yrs) or Senior (10+yrs)

Role Description / Key Responsibilities

This position will provide key construction and operational readiness planning support and work closely with the EPCM/Owners Team Construction Management Team, Operational Readiness Team as well the Site Operations Planning and Scheduling Team.

Must have advance knowledge of SAP PM, Work Management and Master Data Must have a strong knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) as well as maintenance in an operating facility.

Must have a working understanding of work breakdown structures (WBS), scheduling logic, and baseline management as they relate to operational readiness planning and commissioning activities Develop and refine detailed work orders including isolations, construction readiness tasks, and commissioning support activities in SAP PM.

Coordinate with Operational Readiness, SME& and site maintenance to finalize initial PMs for new assets.

Must have a strong background in Workface Planning, working with SMEs to create execution plans complete with the correct level of detail to fully schedule and execute.

Attend and provide both input and feedback in site overall planning and scheduling meetings.

Work simultaneously on multiple projects, meeting critical reporting deadlines and project requirements

Provide regular progress reporting on planning activities, flagging risks and constraints to the Superintendent, Operational Readiness.

Skills / Previous Experience

5+ years advanced proficiency using SAP PM

Proficient with MS Office products

Proficient in Technical Writing techniques (for development of procedures, work instructions etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to build rapport with colleagues
Ability to work independently and prioritize workload
Rigorous attention to detail
