Order Entry / Receiving Clerk

Worklynx Recruitment Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Entry / Receiving Clerk to join our client's team.

Position Details

• Pay Rate: $22/hour
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Position: Order Entry / Receiving Clerk

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and process customer orders accurately into the company’s computer system.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspect received goods for damage, shortages, and discrepancies.
• Update inventory records and maintain accurate receiving documentation.
• Prepare and maintain order confirmations, receiving reports, and related paperwork.
• Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, sales, and shipping departments.
• Report and help resolve order or shipment discrepancies.
• Respond to supplier and internal inquiries regarding orders and deliveries.
• Assist with inventory counts, stock reconciliation, and general administrative duties.
• Maintain organized records and follow company safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in order entry, receiving, inventory control, or administrative support is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Experience working on a Spire program would be an asset
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is an asset.
• Strong data-entry skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
