Must Have:
- 10+ years experience as a Business/Applications Architect following Zachman framework
- Proven experience working on large-scale programs involving multiple highly inter-dependent systems
- 10+ years experience as an Application/information/Security Architect developing a mixed of system architectures for in-house custom solutions/COTS/Cloud based solution
- Knowledge of how the Architecture Governance Process works, including Gating/Checkpoints and their significance. The successful candidate should have previous experience in guiding project through the Architecture Governance Process.
- Proven experience in API design, integration and technical requirement definition
- Knowledge/experience in Data Modeling, including Conceptual, Logical and Physical data and dimension models.
- Expert skills in using Powerdesigner tool for developing all architectures domains
Description
- Note: This position will require the consultant to work from the office location 5 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Applied to both, the process and the outcome of thinking out and specifying the overall structure, logical components, and the logical interrelationships of a computer, its operating system, a network, or other conception.
- Defines the structure and relationship among applications, including the identification of re-usable components, quality level metrics, the organization and layering of software, and the determination of interfaces.
- Responsibilities also include developing, implementing and managing at least one cross-platform application in a large and distributed environment, monitor the whole system, understand all interactions between components on a given level of abstraction, as well as to define limitations and requirements for source code.
- Defines the interactions between application packages, databases and middleware systems.
General Skills
- Experience in the development and implementation of application architectures at the specified experience level.
- Extensive experience with at least two different computing platforms, operating systems, environments, database technologies, programming languages and communication protocols. Experience with middleware and gateways.
- Knowledge of performance considerations in different environments.
- Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development and implementation of applications.
- Extensive experience in systems analysis and design in large systems environments.

- Knowledge/Experience in producing Enterprise Application/Information architecture artifacts and how they provide an enterprise view to the application being architected / designed.
