Business Development Representative

Hypercharge provides seamless, reliable EV charging experiences through our rapidly growing network of public, residential, and commercial charging stations throughout North America.

Your Role:

As an Outbound Business Development Representative, you will help drive Hypercharge’s growth by proactively identifying, researching, and engaging prospective customers through outbound prospecting.

This is a high-activity, pipeline-building role focused on creating new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting. You will be responsible for building target account lists, engaging key decision-makers, qualifying potential customers, and generating qualified meetings for Hypercharge’s account executives.

This role suits someone who is curious, commercially driven, highly organized, and motivated by building pipeline from the ground up. You should be comfortable with cold outreach, rapid experimentation, technical products, and working in a fast-moving environment where initiative, persistence, and follow-through are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively prospect and build pipeline through outbound calling, emailing, and social outreach (cold outreach)
• Research and identify target accounts and key decision-makers within Electrical Contractors, REITs,
• Property Managers, Parking Management Companies, and other priority verticals
• Build and maintain target account and contact lists using tools such as ZoomInfo, Salesforce, LinkedIn, and Claude
• Develop and test outbound messaging and sequences in partnership with the Marketing team
• Adopt, follow, and augment a written prospecting playbook
• Qualify prospects and schedule meetings for Account Executives
• Rigorously track and measure activities, messaging, and pipeline contribution in Salesforce in order to continuously improve
• Collaborate with Marketing on target lists, campaigns, and messaging that support the outbound motion
• Maintain and continuously refine a database of target accounts and outreach cadences
• Clearly represent Hypercharge’s value proposition to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Able to understand and explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Takes ownership of your work and holds yourself accountable to pipeline targets
• Very strong organizational skills• Able to get tasks completed efficiently and at high quality
• Self-starter, Resourceful, Problem solver

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience in B2B technology, SaaS, connected hardware, EV charging infrastructure, clean technology,
• energy, proptech, fleet, parking, construction, or electrical industries.
• Experience prospecting into Electrical Contractors, REITs, Property Managers, Developers, Parking
• Management Companies, or similar organizations.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar sales development and
• prospecting platforms.
• Experience using AI tools to support account research, prospecting, messaging, and sales workflows.
• Previous experience working within a startup, scale-up, or other high-growth environment.

• Salary: $45,000 to $50,000 CAD
• Base Salary + On Target Variable: $75,000+
• Uncapped commission structure with significant earning potential
