Role overview
The Bosch Residential Territory Manager will serve as the primary brand ambassador and business development driver for the Bosch Home Comfort residential product portfolio within an assigned territory of British Columbia in Western Canada. The core mandate of this role is to recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing network of Bosch-branded dealers, enabling them to grow their residential HVAC business through Bosch heating and cooling solutions — including inverter ducted split heat pumps, ductless mini-split systems and furnaces.
This position requires a strong blend of technical HVAC knowledge, sales acumen, and relationship-building skills. The Territory Manager will work closely with the Master sales team and dealer partners to drive adoption of the Bosch brand and achieve territory sales objectives. Travel within the assigned territory is a regular requirement of this role. This role will support the BC territory.
What you will accomplish with us:
Dealer Network Development
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new Bosch-branded residential dealers within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with dealer principals, sales staff, and installation teams.
- Develop dealer capability and commitment to the Bosch brand, ensuring dealers are equipped to actively promote and sell the full Bosch residential product portfolio.
- Establish and track dealer performance metrics, providing coaching and support to help dealers achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all dealer-related matters within the territory.
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute a territory business plan aligned with company goals and Bosch brand objectives.
- Work collaboratively with the Master sales team to support dealers in achieving or exceeding annual regional product sales objectives.
- Promote the full Bosch Home Comfort residential product line, including heat pumps (ducted, ductless) and furnaces.
- Identify market opportunities and develop tactical sales strategies to capitalize on them within the dealer network.
- Participate in and support dealer promotions, financing programs, and residential sales initiatives.
- Provide continuous feedback on market activity, competitor landscape, and customer needs to inform product and sales strategies.
Training & Technical Support
- Develop and deliver product application and sales training to dealer sales staff and installation teams.
- Support dealers with technical product knowledge, ensuring they can confidently sell and install the Bosch product portfolio.
- Collaborate with Bosch and Master product teams to stay current on new product launches, technical updates, and industry developments.
Marketing & Brand Development
- Champion the Bosch brand within the territory, ensuring consistent and professional brand representation across all dealer touchpoints.
- Assist with the creation and distribution of marketing tools, product catalogues, and sales guides.
- Collaborate with marketing and vendor teams to support successful product launches and ongoing promotional campaigns.
- Participate in local industry associations, trade events, and professional groups to raise brand awareness and build market presence.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Collect and share market intelligence, including trends, customer needs, and competitor activity within the territory.
- Provide regular reporting on territory performance, dealer development progress, and market conditions.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to assist with regional inventory planning and forecasting.
- Provide input on product pricing competitiveness and profitability within the territory.
What You Bring to Our Team:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the HVAC-R industry, with a preference for experience in residential heating and cooling.
- Demonstrated experience in dealer/channel development, territory management, or technical sales.
- Strong technical knowledge of residential HVAC systems, including heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, boilers, and related controls.
- Proven ability to build and manage dealer or customer relationships, with a track record of driving sales growth.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills — able to engage effectively with dealer principals, sales teams, and installation technicians alike.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage a territory with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Sense of urgency, customer empathy, and a sharp focus on service excellence.
