Role overview

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations through effective maintenance strategy execution, equipment reliability programs, and hands-on technical leadership. The role focuses on reducing downtime, improving OEE, controlling maintenance costs, and supporting production targets.
What You'll Do:

  • Lead preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance programs to maximize uptime and minimize downtime
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-related issues
  • Drive root cause analysis and long-term corrective actions for recurring equipment failures
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and optimization of equipment and infrastructure
  • Manage CMMS systems, maintenance KPIs, and equipment reliability performance
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, LOTO procedures, and audit requirements
  • Develop and manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and cost control initiatives
  • Support OEE and continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with Production and Quality
  • Lead, coach, and develop maintenance supervisors and technicians in a high-performance environment

Who You Are:

  • Technical diploma or engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 5–10+ years of maintenance leadership in manufacturing or industrial operations
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting experience (including PLCs)
  • Proven success improving uptime, reliability, and maintenance performance metrics
  • Experience with CMMS systems and budget management
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
