Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages to enhance their experience
Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of food and drink requests
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and safety
Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering functions, including cash handling and basic math calculations for bills and change
Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while respecting guest preferences
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and kitchen prep spaces
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special dietary needs or guest requests

Experience

Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy service hours
Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members
Basic math skills for cashiering duties, bill calculations, and inventory management
Experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
