Role overview

Electrical Engineering Firm, located in Richmond Hill, is seeking an energetic, dynamic individual to join our team.

Candidate must have minimum five years experience with Canadian codes and standards in regards to lighting & power, emergency systems, back-up power distribution systems and fire alarm designs for commercial, retail and industrial type buildings.

The candidate should have an electrical engineering/technologist degree from a recognized Canadian University/College.

The successful candidate will have experience in the consulting electrical engineering field and must include the following:

Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and Supplementary Standard SB-10.
Knowledge of the latest ASHRAE standards and Guidelines.
Knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
Knowledge of the Ontario Fire Code.
Familiar with LEED requirements.
Have excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work as a team member or individually.
Working knowledge of the latest AutoCAD and REVIT software is required.

The position is permanent and full time. Starting annual salary will depend on experience.
