Summary:
Not on call. On staff. We are looking for a full-time in-house substitute teacher who can step into any classroom, from JK to Grade 11, and teach. You might teach a single period, split a day between grades, cover a class for a day or a week, or fill in for a teacher on extended leave.
Our school serves students from JK to Grade 11 and follows the Ontario curriculum in English. No French is required. Students also learn the Algonquin language and culture and participate in land-based learning.
Small class sizes mean you'll build connections quickly and get to know students across all grades. This role can also lead to a classroom of your own next school year. Whether you're a new graduate looking to build your experience or an experienced teacher ready for a new challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
