How you will do it:
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
-
Coordinate & facilitate multiple discipline projects from conception through final delivery in conjunction with Project Management and Facilities Operations.

Provide support to Project Managers, Facilities Operations, Contractors and Consultants.

Coordinate delivery of installation documents, specifications & drawings
-
Ordering of equipment & materials for projects as required
-
Scheduling of contractors for sub-contractor installed projects
-
Coordination of Contractors and equipment to the job site
-
Attends project meetings, assembles as required minutes and distributes to the appropriate parties, as required.

Assist the Project Manager in the preparation and maintenance of Change Order Logs, Risks/Issues Logs, Project Construction Schedules, and Vendor Progress Claims

Coordinate delivery of close-out documents
-
Assist in the assembly of contract documents and purchase orders

Procurement and verification of project schedules

Assist with tracking of project RFI’s, change orders and other pertinent documentation
What we look for:
Required
-
Applied Technologies Diploma preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required, plus 2 years of related work experience, preferably within construction or technical work environment.

Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external clients.

Must have the ability to simultaneously handle a large and diverse number of tasks and issues with tact, cooperation, and persistence.

Ability to prioritize work activities.
-
Experience and/or basic project accounting or costing principals is desired.

Must have proficient computer skills within the following applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet business application usage.

Must demonstrate the ability to perform work independently and demonstrate solid organizational and attention to detail skills.
Preferred

Previous experience in the Construction Industry.

College Diploma with a technical emphasis or Trade Certification

Project Co-ordination / Management experience
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $26-35.5 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
