Role overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team at Rideau Pharmacy. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings both professional expertise and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense prescription medications and counsel patients on proper use.
Provide professional advice on prescription and over-the-counter products.
Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential interactions.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Manage and maintain accurate patient and inventory records.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and ethical pharmacy standards.

Qualifications:

Licensed Pharmacist in Ontario.
Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
Strong knowledge of drug interactions, contraindications, and safe medication use.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bilingual proficiency (preferred).
Experience with Fillware pharmacy management software (preferred).
High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
