The Summer Connections program will offer 2 summer outreach days designed to support student well-being, maintain school connection, and provide families with practical resources during the summer months. The event will be rooted in mental health promotion, community connection, and relationship-building. Under the direction of the school principal, staff will collaborate to plan and host activities and experiences that support check-ins with students and families in a warm, low-pressure setting that promotes belonging, play, and creativity. An aspect of this work includes sharing practical resources with parents and guardians and identifying students who may benefit from additional supports. Two 4-hour days will be designated for formal programming, with balance of the hours devoted to planning. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:College Diploma in Child and Youth Worker program or Social Work equivalent in terms of training and experience.
