You'll oversee branch-level operations, leading restoration and construction projects to completion while ensuring profitability, safety, and service excellence.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN EMERGENCY OPERATIONS MANAGER

As an Emergency Operations Manager, you lead the heartbeat of branch operations. You coordinate people, resources, and schedules to keep every project moving with precision and purpose. You'll oversee construction and restoration activities, manage budgets, and maintain a strong focus on safety and quality standards. You'll mentor supervisors and team members, providing coaching and feedback that build engagement and performance. You'll also work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal partners to resolve challenges, control costs, and ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget. Your role is both hands-on and strategic, balancing daily execution with continuous improvement. Travel may be required for large-scale or CAT projects that demand on-site leadership for extended periods of time. Each day, your leadership and problem-solving will help your team deliver exceptional work and strengthen client trust.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of construction or restoration management experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience guiding teams, coaching, and developing employees
  • Strong knowledge of restoration and construction practices, safety programs, and cost control
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and resources simultaneously
  • Skilled in communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Xactimate or project management systems
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgets, and job costing
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract
  • College diploma or trade certification in construction or a related field; IICRC certification an asset
  • Insurance Restoration industry experience a plus
  • Must follow health and safety protocols when visiting worksites or warehouse environments, including the use of required personal protective equipment
