POSITION: Territory Manager, heavy equipment
LOCATION: Ontario

MacDonald Search Group is a national permanent placement recruiting firm and we recruit on behalf of hiring companies.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a North American manufacturer of heavy equipment and they are on the hunt for an experienced outside salesperson to manage a key territory in Ontario comprised of Southwestern ON, Northern ON and core GTA.

This role is responsible for developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and providing technically informed solutions that align with complex customer needs.

You will act as both a sales strategist and technical advisor—partnering with customers, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver value-based solutions, improve operational efficiency, and support long-term account growth.

This role requires the flexibility to travel within Ontario cumulatively 1-2 weeks/month.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree mandatory
5+ years of outside sales or technical sales experience in a related industry
Experience working with complex, technical, or capital equipment solutions strongly preferred
Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, CRM platforms, sales reporting tools)
Valid driver’s license required (ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel)
Commercial Driver’s License may be required for certain territory assignments

Compensation:

Annual base salary plus commission (150K+ OTE)
Company truck (Chevy Silverado or equivalent) is provided, which can be used for business and all personal use; unlimited gas card and 407
