Commissionaires Nova Scotia (CNS) is the province’s leading provider of security, safety, training, and identification services. THE ROLE
Position: Security Guard
Competition Number: CNS 2026-07-17
Location: HRM and Surrounding Areas
Reports to: Site Supervisor
Rate of Pay: Average $19.24 per hour. Scale of compensation is variable, and reflective of site contracts. Please note, some of our sites are unionized work environments.
Working Hours: Rotating 8–12-hour shifts, various hours/days of the week. This also includes full-time, part-time and seasonal positions.
