The Opportunity: Evanston Grand Village – Continuing Care | Calgary, AB

Position Type: Casual. On-Call

Shift Schedule: Day / Evening / Night

Shift Times: 8.25 hour shifts

We’re looking for compassionate, skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who are passionate about providing quality, person-centered care and being part of a supportive team environment.

What You'll Do

Provide safe, resident-focused nursing care in accordance with CLHA standards.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments per clinical standards and Village policy.
Observe and report changes in resident condition to the RN and care team.
Support and mentor care staff while fostering teamwork and respect.
Document care and maintain accurate, timely records.
Participate in safety initiatives, staff education, and quality improvement efforts.

What You Bring

Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses.
Current full practicing licensure with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA)
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
A negative TB test and up-to-date immunization record.
Flexible schedule and broad availability across days, evenings, weekends, or holidays.
