Role overview

Job Summary:

The Senior Full Stack Software Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain complex web-based applications and data pipelines. This role requires expertise in both front-end and back-end development, API design, and cloud technologies, particularly within Azure. The developer will work on scalable, high-performance solutions, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards and collaborating across the software development lifecycle. This position requires working onsite five days per week.
Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and expand data pipelines including extraction, transformation, and loading activities.
  • Translate technical system specifications into tested, working applications with detailed programming specifications.
  • Develop, test, debug, and document applications using structured methodologies and design patterns.
  • Resolve and troubleshoot technical issues during software operation, including implementation, conversion, and migration support.
  • Collaborate with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Design and implement front-end and back-end components, including database design and DevOps practices.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless front-end UI integration.
  • Implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Ensure applications comply with WCAG AA and AODA accessibility standards.
  • Provide post-implementation support and conduct design walkthroughs with project teams.
  • Create and maintain technical and user documentation.

Required Skills & Certifications:

  • Extensive experience with C#, ASP.NET, Web API, Blazor WASM,.NET Core, Entity Framework, LINQ, WCF, and Crystal Reports.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud services including Azure AD security, Multi-Factor Authentication, Entra ID (OAuth), Azure Functions, App Service, Container Instances, Key Vault, and Managed Identities.
  • Experience configuring Azure App registrations, CORS policies, and API testing tools such as Swagger, Postman, and ThunderClient.
  • Proficient in front-end technologies including JavaScript, AngularJS, Angular Material Design, HTML, CSS, and ensuring multi-browser support.
  • Strong database skills with experience in Oracle, SQL Server, PL/SQL Developer, and TOAD.
  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services.
  • Experience with software design principles such as SOLID, Dependency Injection, and use of package managers like NuGet.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as Azure DevOps and JIRA.
  • Ability to develop AODA compliant applications and ensure WCAG AA compliance in web development.
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

  • Experience with rapid application development (RAD) methodologies.
  • Knowledge of middleware, gateways, and software installation scripting.
  • Experience with Java WebLogic, Java programming for web applications including EJB and Servlets.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI fundamentals and designing user interactions.
  • Experience working in public sector environments, particularly education systems.
  • Experience supporting business users and leading complex multi-application projects.
  • Experience with multi-threaded Windows services.
  • Experience with software testing frameworks such as Xunit and MOQ.

Special Considerations:

  • Must work onsite at the office location five days per week.
  • Ability to work in Agile project environments with short iterations and user story implementations.
  • Compliance with accessibility standards including AODA and WCAG AA.
  • May require on-call support and post-implementation troubleshooting.
