Line Cook - Indian Restaurant

Aangan Toronto is looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our growing kitchen team.

We are seeking someone with experience in an Indian kitchen and knowledge of Tandoor, Curries, or Indian Cold Section. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, works well under pressure, and takes pride in consistency and cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook dishes according to Aangan's recipes and standards.
• Work independently on the Tandoor, Curry, or Cold section.
• Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Prepare mise en place and assist with daily kitchen prep.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Work efficiently as part of a professional kitchen team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an Indian restaurant.
• Experience in Tandoor, Curries, or Indian Cold Section is required (expertise in one or more sections is welcome).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
• Weekend and evening availability.
