THE ROLE
Our recruitment team is currently working with one of the leading distributors in Canada. Recognized as one of the Top 100 Best Employers, our client continues to experience constant growth, with multiple locations across North America. The Saskatoon branch is currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative due to its current expansion. The Inside Sales Representative works fully on-site with shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Directdistribution, mining, steel, industrial, construction, or fabricating sales experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer relationships, providing support, technical assistance, and preparing quotes.
- Build strong relationships with new and current clients.
- Support outside sales representatives with order entry and inventory coordination.
- Respond to inquiries across various channels and enter data accurately.
- Ensure quality and efficiency by following procedures and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Generate quotes in line with company policies and customer needs.
- Contribute to team goals by embracing new opportunities and driving product promotions.
- Preparing project bids.
- Stay informed on product updates and industry trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and timely reporting.
- Support sales efforts through follow-ups and lead outreach.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of previous sales experience in a related industry; preference for construction material knowledge.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong problem-solving, sales, computing, organizational, and team-oriented skills.
- Great time management and organization skills, with the ability to track, manage, and follow through on details.
- Multi-tasker and goal-oriented personality.
- Proficient with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office, primarily with Excel.
- Access to own vehicle.
Compensation
- $60,000 to $62,000 (open for negotiation for the right profile).
