Title: Solutions Engineer - Drones & UAV

They're hiring a Solutions Engineer - Drones & UAV to join their growing technical team. In this field-based role, you'll provide technical expertise and support for drone and UAV solutions, working closely with customers, sales, and product teams to ensure successful deployment and operation. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, training, and clearly communicating technical information to internal and external stakeholders. Regular travel across Canada is required to visit customer sites. Occasional international travel may be required, including attendance at major exhibitions and other industry events.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, sales teams, and partners, providing expert support, hardware and software troubleshooting, and minor field repairs, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution.
- Collaborate closely with Service, Vendors, brand management, and internal teams to diagnose complex issues, coordinate resolutions, and ensure customer requirements and service standards are consistently met.
- Maintain in-depth technical knowledge of the company's drone and UAV solutions, including features, specifications, integrations, and applications, while staying current with industry advancements and regulatory developments.
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical workshops, and structured training programs for customers, sales teams, and partners to enhance product adoption and operational effectiveness.
- Represent the company and its vendors at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, delivering technical insight and strengthening market presence.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5+ years in a technical support or product specialist role in the drone/UAV industry.
- Technical knowledge and familiarity with drone regulations and industry standards.
- Must have appropriate Certification - Advanced Pilot Certificate and SFOC
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
