Role overview

Job Summary:

The Change Management Consultant will provide expert guidance and support in applying change management principles, methodologies, and tools to ensure successful adoption of organizational changes. This role involves developing and implementing change management strategies, stakeholder engagement plans, and communication frameworks to facilitate smooth transitions aligned with the Ministry s modernization strategy. The consultant will work onsite, collaborating with diverse stakeholders to identify risks, manage resistance, and measure change outcomes.
Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise and consultative advice on change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies, plans, and frameworks.
  • Lead the development of stakeholder assessments, engagement strategies, and resistance management throughout project lifecycles.
  • Create sponsor roadmaps, communication plans, and training plans to support change initiatives.
  • Align change management activities with stakeholders to remove barriers and facilitate adoption.
  • Support senior leadership in fostering consensus among clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Identify potential people-side risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Provide methodologies and tools to measure change outcomes and success.
  • Develop continuous improvement plans based on change success assessments.

Required Skills:

  • Experience and knowledge of change management industry standards, best practices, methodologies, and tools.
  • Proven ability to develop communication plans, change management strategies, and training plans.
  • Strong presentation and group facilitation skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent conflict management, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Understanding of project management fundamentals and project lifecycle.
  • Experience applying a structured change management approach and methodology for initiatives.
  • Ability to define and measure success metrics to track adoption, utilization, and proficiency.
