Role overview

Commercial Account Manager

Our client is an independent commercial insurance brokerage specializing in Commercial Insurance solutions, with a global network serving clients across major industries. They are looking for a Commercial Account Manager to join the Commercial Lines team, delivering exceptional service, accurate documentation, and reliable support to clients and internal partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as an advisor on commercial insurance for mid to large accounts, arranging coverage with underwriters and advising customers on appropriate coverage and policy gaps
  • Manage the full policy lifecycle, including renewals, changes, cancellations, certificates, and referrals
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance of all client-facing documentation, including policies, certificates, invoices, and correspondence
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to support customer strategy and day-to-day account management
  • Research and analyze insurance and risk-related information to support informed, strategic decision-making
  • Develop and maintain deep technical expertise in commercial insurance products

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing mid to large commercial accounts
  • Active RIBO license required
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented, results-driven approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Epic is considered an asset
  • Completion or enrollment in CAIB, CIP, or CRM designations is an asset

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $70,000-$80,000, as part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and dental benefits, a retirement savings plan, and tuition reimbursement. This role offers a hybrid work model and free on-site parking in Mississauga, Ontario. Individual pay may vary based on experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
