The Opportunity:

Vision Ford is looking for an experienced and customer-focused Senior / Lead Service Advisor to join our Service Department. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who combines strong automotive knowledge with leadership, sales ability, and operational expertise.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers, assess vehicle needs, and provide clear maintenance and repair recommendations
  • Review vehicle history, mileage, and manufacturer guidelines to identify required services
  • Explain the value and urgency of work, obtain approvals, and support service sales goals
  • Open, prepare, and maintain accurate work orders with all required documentation
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure all work is properly communicated and completed efficiently
  • Manage and optimize the service schedule, balancing workload based on capacity, skills, and priorities
  • Adjust appointments as needed to handle urgent repairs and maintain productivity
  • Review completed work with technicians and ensure accuracy of documentation and repairs
  • Collaborate with the BDC and internal teams to improve scheduling, efficiency, and customer retention
  • Track performance metrics, identify opportunities, and support overall service department success

Qualifications:

  • Completed high school or GED. Post-secondary education is an asset
  • Must have a valid driver's licenses and a clean driver's abstract
  • Must be computer literate - be able to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and be able to learn a new computer program
  • Must be bilingual in English and French
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor (senior or lead experience preferred)
  • Strong automotive knowledge and understanding of service operations
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Leadership mindset with the ability to coordinate workflow and priorities
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Pay rate: This position pays $20 to $26 depending on experience. Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in a Service Advisor role.
