Program Summary:
Ingles House is a structured abstinence-based home for female identified individuals between the ages of 18-35 who are recovering from substance use. The program encourages independence by supporting each woman in exploring their own strengths. Staff work closely with clients to develop an empathic, hopeful and continuous relationship, provide a range of support, and act as system navigators and advocates to connect clients with the resources they need. Staff meet one-to-one with clients to support the development of self-directed goals.
Ingles House provides residents with an opportunity to explore and put into practice skills and resources acquired to support their recovery journey. Clients are part of a recovery community for up to twelve (12) months and share in the day-to-day operations of the household developing life skills that align with supporting their transition to the broader community. Staff work one-on-one with clients from a trauma-informed holistic approach, creating a safe, secure environment. Through goal development, clients are encouraged to explore and expand on personal resources and coping strategies to meet their desired outcomes.
Job Summary:
Through a team oriented professional approach, the position provides support to the client to increase their independence, dignity and self-respect, in a safe and secure environment by working within a team-based environment, you will support clients in achieving greater independence, dignity, and well-being within a safe and supportive housing setting.
