Job Description:Under the direction of the Manager of Nursing, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care for Orthopedics.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses

Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

Other Education and Training

Nursing diploma is acceptable
Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

Knowledge and Abilities

Ability to competently use computers and software applications
Knowledge is commonly obtained through previous experience in Orthopedics.
Ability to communicate with clients from diverse backgrounds
Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice
Experience in nursing services relating to the care of surgery patients
Knowledge of nursing principles, methods and techniques in Orthopedics.
