We're looking for a dependable Materials Coordinator to join a well-established manufacturing operation in Burlington. This is a dynamic, hands-on role supporting the movement of materials throughout the facility while assisting with shipping and receiving, inventory coordination, production support, and material handling.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, is comfortable using computers, takes initiative, and is looking for a long-term opportunity where they can continue to develop their skills.

What You'll Do

As a Materials Coordinator, you'll play an important role in keeping materials, products, and information flowing efficiently throughout the operation.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Organize inventory and ensure materials are available for production.
  • Coordinate the movement of raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
  • Support the Value-Added Department with packaging, assembly, labeling, and customer-specific product preparation.
  • Update information using computer-based shipping and inventory systems.
  • Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment when required.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment using 5S principles.
  • Support other operational areas as business needs require.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in manufacturing, shipping & receiving, logistics, warehouse operations, or material handling.
  • Strong computer skills and confidence learning new software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to support multiple areas of the operation.
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities throughout the day.
  • Strong attendance, reliability, and a commitment to workplace safety.

The following are considered assets:

  • Forklift certification and previous operating experience.
  • Overhead crane experience.
  • Shipping and receiving experience.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
