Job Description:Under the direction of the Home Care Home First Manager, the Registered Nurse carries major responsibilities in providing nursing services in the home; collaborates as a member of a multi-disciplinary team in assessing needs, setting priorities for care and developing standards for care; participates in educational programs and performance evaluation process; promotes good public relations and participates, as required, in studies and research projects within the Home Care Program.

Experience

Two (2) years recent community nursing experience/broad generalist background

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

Nursing diploma is acceptable
Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
