Role overview

The role is for joining the Software Operations team as an SDET 2 - Automation and Build Developer.

The Automation and Build Developer will be primarily responsible for engineering automation security solutions in our build pipeline while optimizing/supporting our core builds. You will serve as the critical bridge between development and operations/production, ensuring our C++ codebases compile efficiently across multiple architectures. You will be tasked with integrating automated security checks (such as SAST, DAST, and SCA) and ensuring our delivery pipelines produce a secure product.

A successful candidate will have strong experience with SCA Tools, C++, cross-compilation toolchains, Docker-based build environments, and CI/CD applications, alongside solid Python development skills for security tooling integration. You will work closely with product developers to accelerate build times through advanced caching, implement new build pipeline capabilities and develop automation test coverage

You will leverage AI-assisted development tools, including Claude and similar LLMs, to accelerate troubleshooting, automate routine tasks, and improve productivity across build and test workflows. You will explore the integration of AI powered tools to improve our product and accelerate overall development velocity.

This position will apply company knowledge to meet well-established project deliverables, routinely applying their skills to design, develop, optimize, test, document, and deliver against requirements and specifications.
You will report to the Team Lead of our Software Operations team
