Position Summary

We are looking for someone who is reliable,
organized, safety-minded, and ready to get the job done.

The Warehouse Personnel is an important part
of keeping Torch's remote operations running smoothly. From receiving materials
at the Edmonton warehouse, to preparing a camps’ supplies manifest, staging
supplies for deployment, and tracking equipment returning from the field, this
role helps ensure our teams have the right materials at the right place and at
the right time.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Inventory Operations

  • Receive,

inspect, and verify incoming materials, equipment, supplies, and shipments
against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documents.

  • Organize

and maintain warehouse inventory in a clean, efficient, and accessible
manner.

  • Label

and properly store materials, equipment, supplies, and camp-related items.

  • Pick,

pack, stage, and prepare materials and supplies for remote camp
deployment.

  • Assist

with loading and unloading trucks, trailers, and deliveries.

  • Ensure

materials are properly secured and prepared for transportation.

  • Maintain

accurate inventory records and report shortages, damages, or
discrepancies.

  • Conduct

regular inventory counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.

  • Track

the movement of equipment, tools, supplies, and other assets entering and
leaving the warehouse.

  • Maintain

a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard at all times.

Camp Deployment & Logistics Support

  • Prepare

materials, equipment, supplies, and other items according to camp
deployment requirements and manifests.

  • Review

deployment lists and ensure required items are pulled, staged, and ready
for scheduled departures.

  • Assist

the with last-minute operational requirements and changes.

  • Coordinate

with the Operations team regarding the availability and readiness of
materials.

  • Assist

with preparing and organizing items for transportation to remote camps.

  • Verify

that items being dispatched correspond with the appropriate camp, employee
deployment, project, or work order.

  • Assist

with receiving and processing items returned from remote camps.

  • Track

returned equipment, supplies, tools, and other materials and ensure they
are properly stored or redistributed.

  • Communicate

shortages, missing items, damaged equipment, or other deployment concerns
to the appropriate supervisor.

Documentation & Tracking

  • Maintain

accurate warehouse records, inventory logs, shipping and receiving
documentation, and equipment tracking records.

  • Assist

with maintaining and updating camp manifests and deployment-related
documentation.

  • Verify

quantities and descriptions of materials against shipping documents and
manifests.

  • Document

materials and equipment received, dispatched, returned, damaged, or
missing.

  • Ensure

required paperwork is completed and submitted in a timely manner.

  • Assist

with maintaining accurate records of company equipment and operational
assets.

  • Communicate

discrepancies or documentation issues promptly to the Logistics or
Operations team.

Equipment & Safety

  • Operate

forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other material-handling equipment as
trained and authorized.

  • Ensure

equipment is used safely and report any damaged or unsafe equipment
immediately.

  • Follow

proper procedures for handling, storing, and securing materials.

  • Maintain

clear access to warehouse aisles, emergency exits, loading areas, and
workspaces.

  • Follow

all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable Occupational
Health and Safety requirements.

  • Participate

in workplace safety meetings, training, and inspections as required.

  • Report

hazards, incidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions to management.

General Operations Support

  • Assist

with deliveries and pickups between the Edmonton warehouse, suppliers,
offices, and job sites as required.

  • Assist

with day-to-day operational requirements.

  • Support

other departments when warehouse or material-handling assistance is
required.

  • Maintain

a professional and cooperative relationship with drivers, suppliers,
employees, and field personnel.

  • Perform

other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous

warehouse, logistics, inventory, or material-handling experience is an
asset.

  • Experience

supporting remote camps, construction, oilfield, industrial, or field
operations is an asset.

  • Experience

with shipping/receiving and inventory tracking is preferred.

  • Experience

working with manifests, packing lists, work orders, or deployment
documentation is an asset.

  • Ability

to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment.

  • Comfortable

working on your feet and performing physically demanding tasks throughout
the day.

  • Strong

organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability

to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Ability

to adapt to changing operational priorities.

  • Good

communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability

to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Basic

computer skills and ability to use email, spreadsheets, inventory systems,
and other computer applications.

  • Forklift

certification and experience is an asset.

  • Valid

Class 5 driver's licence and clean driver's abstract is an asset.

Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on warehouse position that
requires regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying,
loading, and unloading of materials and equipment.

The successful candidate must be physically
capable of performing the essential duties of the position safely and
efficiently.
