Position: Lead Host / Hostess - Le Crocodile Restaurant by Rob Feenie

We are seeking a polished, highly organized Lead Host / Hostess to manage the flow of our reservation-driven fine-dining restaurant, as well as assist in large group bokkings and buy-out events. This role is essential in orchestrating seating, pacing, and guest arrival with warm welcoming precision, ensuring a seamless dining room from first greeting through final departure.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a high-volume reservaiton book with accuracy, foresight, and attention to detail
Control seating flow and table pacing to support multi-course fine-dining service
Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and confident composure
Uphold immaculate standards at the host stand and entryway
Maintain real-time awareness of table status, guest arrival patterns, and service timing
Communicate clearly with guests as well as management and service teams to align expectations and pacing
Handle special requests, VIP notes, and guest preferences with discretion
Manage reservations email inbox, and large booking inqueries

Qualifications

Prior experience in fine dining, reservation-driven environments preferred.
Strong command of OpenTable reservation systems and seating strategies. Minimum two years working with OpenTable is preferred.
Exceptional organizational skills and calm decisoin-making under pressure
Refined communication style and polished presence
Ability to anticipate challenges and adjust pacing proactively
Availablity for evenings, weekends, and holidays
