Clean Harbors in Guelph, ON is seeking Field Service Technicians to join its safety-conscious FS Ontario team! This role is associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, working in confined spaces and the handling of hazardous materials. This role is based out of our Guelph, ON head office - however, it requires flexibility to travel throughout Ontario.

Federally regulated position (paid sick days & OT paid after 40/hrs. per week).*****

Responsibilities:

Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
Perform environmental remediation, hazardous waste management, and chemical/water spill cleanups.
Conduct tank and vessel cleaning, including confined space entry and work at heights.
Complete labor-intensive field service projects and emergency response activities.
Safely use hand tools, pressure washers, and other powered industrial equipment.
Wear required personal protective equipment, including respirators.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Valid Class G license with reliable transportation required.
DZ license highly preferred.
Willingness to travel to various sites across Ontario as needed.
Previous labour or hazardous waste removal experience is highly preferred.
Industrial cleaning and chemical handling experience is an asset.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and moving materials.
Willingness to be trained for confined space entry and work at heights.
Must be clean-shaven when required to ensure proper respirator fit and use.
