Role overview

Banff Caribou Properties is looking for a Commercial Laundry Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operation of our commercial laundry facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising staff, maintaining quality standards, meeting production targets, and ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

Supervise and assist with all laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivery preparation.
Ensure daily production goals are met.
Train, coach, and support laundry team members.
Monitor quality standards and address issues as they arise.
Maintain inventory of supplies and submit orders as required.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and sanitation requirements.
Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.
Drive the company laundry truck between properties when required.
Assist in all areas of the laundry operation as needed.
Promote a safe, productive, and respectful work environment.

Qualifications

Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
Commercial laundry, housekeeping, manufacturing, or production experience is an asset.
Valid Class 5 driver's licence and acceptable driving record.
Ability to operate a company laundry truck.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Basic computer skills, including email and spreadsheets.
Knowledge of health and safety practices.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

Physical Requirements

Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Able to lift, push, and pull heavy laundry carts and linen loads.
Able to perform repetitive physical tasks.
Physically capable of working in any position within the laundry operation and leading by example when needed.
