Job Description

Are you an experienced pharmacist ready to take the next step into a leadership role? We are looking for a Pharmacy Manager to join a well-established community pharmacy located in a confidential location west of Kitchener, Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking for a stable management position in a community-focused pharmacy with a manageable prescription volume and strong support from a pharmacy assistant.

As Pharmacy Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy while ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Managing daily pharmacy operations and workflow
  • Dispensing prescriptions accurately and safely
  • Providing medication counselling and clinical support to patients
  • Supervising and supporting pharmacy staff
  • Working closely with the pharmacy assistant to maintain an efficient workflow
  • Managing inventory and medication ordering
  • Ensuring compliance with Ontario pharmacy regulations and professional standards
  • Building strong relationships with patients and the local community
  • Administering influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations
  • Supporting the continued growth and success of the pharmacy

Requirements

  • Licensed Pharmacist in Ontario
  • Previous community pharmacy experience
  • Pharmacy management or leadership experience is an asset
  • Injection certification with the ability to administer Flu and COVID-19 vaccines
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario pharmacy standards and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Patient-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently while leading a pharmacy team

Benefits

  • CAD $114,400–$124,800 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
  • Competitive CAD $55–$60/hour compensation range

Schedule

The pharmacy operates on the following schedule:

  • Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Sunday: Closed
