The Opportunity
Build the Future with Us -Support field execution on impactful mine closure and environmental remediation projects within our Applied Solutions team. This opportunity is ideal for a junior Construction Coordinator / Supervisor looking to develop hands-on experience in construction coordination within challenging environments.
In this role, you’ll contribute to delivering safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible outcomes, working closely with experienced field teams. Operating on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotational schedule in Yellowknife, you’ll help ensure projects meet performance, safety, and compliance expectations while building your experience on meaningful environmental restoration initiatives.
Your Impact

Support and coordinate daily construction and field activities on mine closure and environmental projects

Assist in monitoring contractor work to ensure alignment with safety, scope, and schedule requirements

Work with project teams to support safe execution in remote and extreme climate conditions

Track field progress, maintain documentation, and contribute to reporting

Promote a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental compliance

Identify and communicate field issues, risks, and improvement opportunities

Contribute to successful project outcomes and environmental restoration efforts
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in construction coordination, supervision, or field operations

Diploma or degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (civil, environmental, or related discipline)
- Exposure to mine closure, remediation, or environmental projects is an asset
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in team environments
- Ability to work in remote locations under extreme weather and site conditions
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and regulatory compliance in field environments
- Adaptability and resilience in rotational work schedules (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off)

Compensation
- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT:$37.60 - $49.90
- MB & ON:$34.30 - $47.30
- NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC:$34.00 - $45.20
