Role overview
Job Summary:
The Senior Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining complex software applications with a focus on Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform, and Azure solutions. This role involves collaborating across teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and integrated software solutions while supporting post-implementation activities and ensuring high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Translate technical system specifications into functional, tested applications including coding, compiling, and unit testing.
- Resolve and troubleshoot technical issues during software use, implementation, conversion, and migration.
- Collaborate with IT professionals throughout the software development life cycle using structured methodologies.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document applications using object-oriented and third-generation languages.
- Develop and support applications using Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Power Platform, and Azure technologies.
- Conduct design walkthroughs and impact assessments, particularly for Oracle E-Business customizations if applicable.
- Provide post-implementation support and resolve technical issues.
- Prepare technical documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile methodologies including use of Kanban/task boards and CI/CD pipelines.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform, and Azure solution design and development.
- Strong knowledge of Dynamics interoperability, integration, and capability with Microsoft cloud technologies.
- Proficiency in both low code and custom development on Dynamics 365.
- Extensive experience in Dynamics 365 Customer Service including case management, knowledge management, and workspace configuration.
- Working knowledge of Azure SQL, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with.NET, C#, JavaScript, and related development frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Certifications in Dynamics 365 and Azure.
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Accounts Payable, and Inventory.
- Knowledge of Oracle database programming including PL/SQL, SQL tuning, XML, Unix shell scripting, and Oracle Data Integrator.
- Experience with Java and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF).
- Understanding of Information Management principles and Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) standards.
- Experience with middleware, gateways, and data warehouse/ETL methodologies including OBIEE.
- Experience developing custom Web API, ASP.NET,.Net Core, Entity Framework.
- Experience with Power Platform components such as Power Apps (Model-Driven, Canvas), Power Pages, and Custom PCF controls.
- Knowledge of server-side templating languages such as Liquid.
Special Considerations:
- Must work onsite full-time starting January 5, 2026.
- Expected to adhere to standard working hours and onsite location requirements.
Scheduling:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (excluding lunch breaks).
- Onsite presence required during standard business hours.
