The Opportunity
Build the Future with Us -Step into a pivotal role supporting impactful mine closure and environmental remediation projects in Northern Canada. As an Intermediate Construction Coordinator / Supervisor, you will help deliver complex field programs under challenging conditions, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution.
This position is based in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, and operates on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotational schedule, requiring travel to remote project sites and the ability to work in extreme outdoor environments. This is an opportunity to combine technical expertise with leadership in a dynamic setting, directly contributing to environmental sustainability and responsible resource management.
Your Impact
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day construction and field activities for mine closure and environmental remediation projects
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with environmental, regulatory, and project requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, environmental scientists, contractors, and clients
- Monitor schedules, productivity, and budgets, proactively addressing risks or delays
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality control checks to ensure standards are met
- Support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental plans in extreme and remote conditions
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and field records using MS Office tools
- Foster strong communication and alignment across field teams and stakeholders
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction coordination, supervision, or related field roles, ideally within environmental or mine closure projects
- Strong technical understanding of construction processes, environmental remediation, or civil works
- Demonstrated ability to work safely and effectively in remote locations and extreme outdoor climates
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and reporting tools)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging field teams and clients
- Experience working on rotational schedules (e.g., 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment

Compensation
- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT:$43.70 - $57.80
- MB & ON:$39.80 - $54.90
- NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC:$39.40 - $52.40
