Job Summary:

The Senior Full Stack Software Developer will lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust Java and Angular applications. This role requires extensive experience in backend and frontend technologies, data analysis, and accessibility compliance, working collaboratively within project teams to deliver high-quality software solutions, particularly in a public sector environment.
Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Java and Angular-based applications using frameworks such as Liberty, Spring, and JPA implementations.
Analyze data records, diagnose issues, and implement design changes to improve software performance and reliability.
Create and optimize database scripts, design data models, and manage Oracle database interactions.
Design and develop accessible web UI components compliant with WCAG 2.0 Level AA standards.
Collaborate effectively with project teams to meet goals and deliverables.
Ensure software solutions align with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and public sector requirements.

Required Skills:

10+ years of programming experience in Java and/or Angular.
Proficiency with Java frameworks: Liberty, Spring, JPA 2.1 (Hibernate, Eclipse Link).
Experience with JAX-RS 2.0, JDBC 4.1, Windows Exchange Web Services API, and WebSocket 1.1.
Strong Oracle database skills including scripting, design, and data modeling.
Ability to develop accessible web UI components compliant with WCAG 2.0 Level AA.
Experience working within the Ontario Public Service or similar public sector environments.

Desired Skills:

Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams.
Knowledge of MNRF-AFFES division service offerings.
Experience with AngularJS framework.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to software and data design.
