Our client is a leading manufacturer of steel bar products and is currently seeking a Licensed Industrial Electrician (442A Red Seal) to join their growing maintenance team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and production equipment
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on plant equipment
• Diagnose electrical, PLC, motor control, and automation issues to minimize downtime
• Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment and machinery
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
• Repair and maintain motors, drives, sensors, control panels, and electrical distribution systems
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency
• Complete maintenance documentation and work orders accurately
• Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and all plant safety policies
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to support safe and efficient operations

What We're Looking For

• Licensed Industrial Electrician (442A) with Interprovincial Red Seal endorsement
• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in steel, metals, heavy manufacturing, or a similar industrial environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills with industrial electrical systems
• Experience with Siemens S5/S7 PLCs is considered an asset
• Knowledge of motors, VFDs, control systems, and industrial automation
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation
• Comfortable working rotating 8-12 hour day and night continental shifts
• Computer skills related to maintenance management systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
