Role overview

The Coating Inspector - Level 3 is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality and integrity of coating applications in various industrial settings. This role involves leading coating inspection activities, interpreting standards, and providing expert guidance to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough inspections of coating applications to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements
Interpret and apply NACE standards and other relevant industry guidelines
Lead and mentor junior coating inspectors and technicians
Document inspection results and prepare detailed reports
Collaborate with project teams to address and resolve coating-related issues
Ensure all work adheres to safety and quality assurance protocols
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coating materials, technologies, and industry best practices

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience in coating inspection
High school diploma or equivalent
NACE Level 3 Coating Inspector Certification
Expertise in coating inspection and NACE standards
Strong report writing skills
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills
Commitment to safety compliance and quality assurance
