Senior Document Controller
Our client, a well-established organization within the energy sector, is seeking an experienced Senior Document Controller to support major capital projects and ongoing operations. This is an opportunity for a senior-level professional to act as a subject matter expert in document control, records management, and information governance while partnering closely with engineering, construction, project, and operational teams.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:

Lead and administer document control activities throughout the full document lifecycle, including creation, review, approval, issuance, retention, archival, and disposition.
Ensure compliance with corporate standards, project requirements, regulatory obligations, and information governance practices.
Maintain the quality, integrity, accessibility, and traceability of engineering, operational, and project documentation.
Support audits, assessments, and compliance reviews related to document control and records management.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to document control personnel, project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
Support project execution from initiation through commissioning and closeout, including turnover documentation and as-built records.
Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, metrics, and performance indicators to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to the enhancement of document control procedures, standards, work instructions, and governance programs.

Your Strengths Include:

7+ years of progressive Document Control, Records Management, or Information Management experience within engineering, construction, operational, or capital project environments.
Strong understanding of document lifecycle management, records management, information governance, and compliance requirements.
Self-starter with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead process change within large organizations.
Advanced knowledge of federal, state, and provincial laws concerning archives, copyright, access to information, and protection of personal information.
Oil & Gas, Midstream, EPC, or large-scale industrial project experience is highly preferred.
