The Opportunity:
You will work with a driven team of journalists and researchers on large-scale projects of public interest. You will be engaged in story planning, strategizing public records harvesting, backgrounding companies and individuals, filing and appealing freedom of information requests, data analysis and in-depth interviewing. Candidates with strong multi-media skills — including visual storytelling and video/audio production — are especially encouraged to apply. Work with a team of journalists and researchers on projects.

The IJB team meets in person in its newsroom inside the Postmedia building in downtown Toronto at least three days a week, typically Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The successful candidate will need to be in Toronto.

Compensation:
Employment offers presented to the selected candidate are based on a combination of qualifications, experience, responsibilities of the role and the candidate's location.
Base Salary: $60,000- $65,000
