Role overview
Service Manager
sign on bonus $5,000
Pay: $100,000 - $150,000 annually
Work Schedule:Monday to Friday, Full-Time
Position Overview:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the service department.
- Coach, mentor, and supervise service personnel while supporting ongoing training and performance development.
- Build and maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Review service documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality standards are met.
- Provide technical guidance and estimating support to field technicians.
- Coordinate service calls, preventative maintenance schedules, and project assignments.
- Manage maintenance agreements, including pricing and customer recommendations.
- Collaborate with leadership to monitor department performance, profitability, and P&L results.
- Ensure efficient use of equipment, tools, materials, and company resources.
- Monitor job completion and ensure work orders are finalized accurately.
- Develop strong customer relationships by addressing concerns and providing effective solutions.
- Prepare estimates and proposals for HVAC repairs, replacements, and new installations.

What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum of five years of leadership or management experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets and profit & loss performance.
- Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software applications.
- Experience with customer management systems and QuickBooks is an asset.
- HVAC industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline is considered an asset.
- Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record.
