Role overview

Property & Operations Coordinator
Location: Edmonton, AB
Industry: Commercial Property Management
Salary Range: $50,000

Company Story:
I'm working with an established Edmonton commercial real estate group with a stable portfolio and a close-knit team. The organization takes a hands-on approach to its properties and places a strong focus on responsive tenant service, organized operations, and long-term relationships.
With a lean team structure, everyone plays an important role in keeping the business running smoothly. They are looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work, and wants exposure to several areas of commercial property management.

The Right Fit:
As the Property & Operations Coordinator, you'll provide day-to-day support to the General Manager and broader property team while helping keep the office and portfolio organized.

This is a varied role where one day might involve coordinating a maintenance request or communicating with a tenant, while another involves preparing documents, updating property records, organizing an inspection, or supporting an internal project.

You'll suit this team if you're organized, approachable, comfortable working independently, and enjoy being the person others rely on to keep details moving.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Act as a key point of contact for tenant questions, requests, and general communication
  • Coordinate maintenance requests, service appointments, and property inspections
  • Assist with tenant move-ins, move-outs, and related documentation
  • Maintain property, lease, vendor, and compliance records
  • Support the General Manager and property team with scheduling and administrative coordination
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, notices, and meeting materials
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers regarding property work
  • Maintain office supplies, equipment, records, and general administrative systems
  • Assist with company website updates and social media activity
  • Track outstanding items and follow up with tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Support special projects and changing operational priorities as required

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 3+ years of administrative, coordination, or office support experience
  • Previous exposure to property management, commercial real estate, construction, or a related industry is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence communicating with tenants, vendors, contractors, and internal team members
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and follow through on outstanding items
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning new systems
  • A proactive, resourceful approach and willingness to take ownership
  • Experience working within a smaller, collaborative team is an asset

What's in It for You:

  • Full-time, permanent opportunity
  • Salary range of $50,000 - $55,000
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Exposure to multiple areas of commercial property management
  • Direct access to experienced leadership
  • Opportunity to take ownership of a newly created position
  • Stable, collaborative team environment
  • Long-term opportunity to develop your skills as the organization grows
