Position Overview:
Finning Canada is seeking a Temporary (Summer Student) Warehouse Person (Material Supply Assistant), who will be responsible for general shipping/receiving and warehousing duties at our facility in Syncrude Field. This is a temporary position with an end date of September 1, 2026.

• $43.76 – $52.90/hr
• Overtime & double time hours potentially available

Job Description:

• Picking customer and branch parts orders
• Packing and labeling parts orders for shipment
• Sorting and binning incoming stock
• Loading and unloading of the parts trucks

Qualifications:

• High school diploma (Grade 12)
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to successfully work under minimal supervision
• TDG and WHMIS certification, coupled with forklift training will be considered assets
• Previous warehousing and core inspection experience, as well as computer literacy are also desired
• Forklift training, and experience working with radio frequency and bar-coding technology would be assets
• A strong commitment to safety is imperative

Important Information:

• This position is based in Syncrude Fieldon a 5x2 Shift. (Monday to Friday)
• Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
• This is a Temporary position that is expected to last until September 1, 2026.
