Role overview

We are seeking a high-impact bilingual Director of IT & Business Intelligence to stabilize, structure, and scale our client’s technology ecosystem. This is an ideal role for a "player-coach" who thrives in fast-paced, mid-sized environments and possesses a strong bias for action.

You will take ownership of their fragmented IT environment—bringing clarity, reliability, and scalability to systems, integrations (EDI/API), and data architecture. Your work will directly enable operational efficiency, commercial growth, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Ops: Oversee day-to-day IT operations (Helpdesk, SysAdmin) and ensure 24/7 system reliability, security, and performance.
Integrations & EDI: Own the system architecture strategy. Stabilize and scale integrations between TMS, CRM, and ERP systems while driving EDI reliability with partners.
Business Intelligence: Build and deliver executive-level dashboards (KPIs for Sales, Ops, Finance) and establish rigorous data governance standards.
Process Automation: Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual workflows across the order lifecycle.
Team Leadership: Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, clarifying roles and driving accountability in an evolving environment.

Qualifications

Experience: Proven IT leadership in fast-paced, mid-sized, or high-growth companies.
Technical Edge: Deep expertise in systems integration (APIs, EDI), Data Architecture, and BI tools.
Industry Knowledge: Experience with TMS, CRM, or ERP systems is required; Logistics/Supply Chain/Transportation experience is a significant asset.
Mindset: A "player-coach" who can pivot from high-level strategy to tactical problem-solving.
Transformation: Demonstrated ability to bring order to underdeveloped or fragmented IT environments.
Bilingual: English/French

This is a HYBRID role, 3 days on-site (Montreal)
