Lead intelligent control systems that shape the future of Energy—starting in Calgary.This role puts you at the centre of digital delivery and operational excellence. As an Automation Lead, you will drive automation strategy and execution across complex projects, helping teams work smarter, faster, and more safely. From concept through deployment, your work will influence how infrastructure is designed, delivered, and operated across Western Canada and beyond. Your Impact
• Lead the design and implementation of automation solutions across engineering and operational workflows
• Drive business development to support project growth
• Translate business and project needs into scalable automation strategies and roadmaps
• Champion continuous improvement through intelligent automation, scripting, and system integration
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to embed automation into project delivery and digital platforms
• Mentor and guide team members, building capability and consistency across automation practices
• Evaluate emerging tools and technologies to strengthen efficiency, quality, and reliability
• Support governance, standards, and best practices for automation across projects and programs The Skills That Set You Apart
• Proven experience leading automation initiatives in engineering, energy, and oil and gas environments
• Strong hands on background with automation tools and system integration (e.g., Rockwell, ABB, DeltaV, Siemens)
• Experience working across complex, multi stakeholder projects with measurable delivery outcomes
• Ability to balance technical depth with strategic thinking and practical execution

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK and YT: $135,200 – $179,100
MB and ON: $123,300 – $169,800
NB, NL, NS, PEI and QC: $122,100 – $162,200 Disclosure
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
