Toothworks Boardwalk Dental is a high-volume, patient-focused clinic serving the Kitchener community from one of the area's most popular destinations. As part of the Toothworks (Dentalcorp) network, we're known for delivering exceptional care to a busy and loyal patient base — and we need a front desk professional who can match our energy and keep things running seamlessly.

The Role

This is a front-line role that blends reception, treatment coordination, and patient communication. You'll be the face and voice of our clinic — the person who sets the tone the moment a patient walks in or calls. In a busy office like ours, we need someone who stays calm under pressure, takes initiative, and brings a "whatever it takes" attitude every single day.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome patients and manage front desk operations efficiently in a high-volume setting.
Schedule appointments, manage confirmations, and handle multi-line phone inquiries.
Verify, submit, and follow up on insurance claims accurately and promptly.
Present and explain treatment plans to patients, including fees, insurance coverage, and financing options.
Manage collections and support the achievement of clinic operational goals.
Use Abeldent software to maintain patient records, treatment plans, and scheduling.
Support the clinical team with day-to-day workflow and operational needs.

What We're Looking For

Previous dental office experience is mandatory.
Proficiency with Abeldent dental software strongly preferred; experience with any dental practice management software is an asset.
Comfortable operating a multi-line phone system in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Flexible availability — the clinic operates 6 days a week and shifts rotate across those days; you will work your standard hours within that schedule.
Ability to stay composed, focused, and efficient during busy periods.
Naturally puts people at ease — warm, professional, and genuinely enthusiastic about patient care.
Positive, dependable, and able to bring your best self to every shift.
